Remember my collection of flowers I mentioned. Well the one trip to Spain for Sea Otter Europe and GT’s Grade Escape launch of the 2nd-gen Grade—and boom: inspiration overload. I built a series of mosaic flowers pulled from every country I’d wandered through. With the blank canvas of that new Grade in front of me, I splashed it with sky blues, earthy greens, and ocean-deep teals from my travels. The toptube bloomed with those flowers, wrapping into ocean-deep teal pieces that flowed all the way to the headtube. And, of course, I sealed it all with a glitter topcoat—because life (and good design) always deserves a little sparkle. I hope you find the sparkle in your day.
