Team Scream Nails for the 50th
Team Scream Nails for the 50th
From 1999–2025, my life was a long creative tide—brands ebbing and flowing, roles shapeshifting, new cities unfolding like pages in a sketchbook. My passport became a collage of airport caffeine and color inspiration. Somewhere between the rebrands, the launches, and the single bedbug situation, I began collecting national flowers: tiny emblems of place turned into palettes and patterns. Their bloom continues on the Product Color & Graphics page.

My work has pedaled into mass retailers, big-box giants, and independent bike shops—while I guided and designed for Mongoose, GT, Schwinn, and a cameo run with Cannondale. People have dubbed me as the graphics lady or the color queen of my generation.
2007-2025 GT Bicycles

• Elevated GT’s visual language through research-backed color stories, material finishes, and graphic systems that made every bike look fast, intentional, and unapologetically GT.
• Developed and optimized design operations that boosted consistency, clarity, and speed from concept sketch to final production.
• Designed award-winning palettes and graphic packages for bikes ranging from gravel explorers to full-tilt race machines.
• Crafted custom athlete builds with refined storytelling, iconic palettes, and bold graphic moments—often captured on podiums and global broadcasts.
• Translated brand personality into cohesive design direction—turning cross-functional chaos into a workflow that actually empowered creativity.
• Helped shape GT’s modern design identity—high-energy visuals, smart use of materials, and an unmistakable attitude on every frame.

June 2025 brought the first GT reunion ever—because nothing brings people together like a brand hitting the big red “pause” button. GT has always been family-level chaos and charm, and I’m lucky to have spent a good stretch of its 50+ years sneaking my creative fingerprints onto its global look and feel.

1999 - 2010 Mongoose

• Went from intern to lead creative voice shaping Mongoose’s visual style—crafting graphics, colors, and finishes that made bikes feel energetic even at a standstill.
• Built expressive color palettes and graphic systems that championed Mongoose’s fun, fearless, “send-it” spirit while staying grounded in solid design discipline.
• Designed a full suite of brand touchpoints—catalogs, global banners, POP systems, jerseys, and campaign assets—to create a unified, high-impact visual ecosystem.
• Created the design direction of the iconic Mongoose Magalog, blending storytelling with product specifications.
• Balanced creativity with production feasibility through factory visits, prototyping, and hands-on material reviews to ensure color and finish accuracy.
• Ensured every brand moment—from product graphics to marketing visuals—felt cohesive, intentional, and unmistakably Mongoose.

The 2008 Mongoose “Magalog”—a product catalog cleverly dressed up as a magazine with interviews, spoof ads, and all the attitude—was revived on the 2025 website as a showcase of the brand’s most memorable innovations.
